STEP BY STEP
The Process
Step 1
Preheat & Prepare
Warm your French Press with hot water to stabilize brewing temperature, then discard the water before adding coffee.
Step 2
Add Coffee Grounds
Add freshly ground coarse coffee to the French Press. A coarse grind prevents over-extraction and sediment.
Step 3
Bloom the Coffee
Pour a small amount of hot water to fully saturate the grounds. Let it bloom for 30 seconds to release trapped gases.
Step 4
Pour & Stir
Slowly pour the remaining water evenly, then gently stir to ensure all grounds are fully immersed.
Step 5
Steep
Place the lid on with the plunger pulled up and allow the coffee to steep for 4 minutes for optimal extraction.
Step 6
Plunge Slowly
Press the plunger down slowly and evenly. Avoid forcing it to maintain clarity and smoothness.
Step 7
Serve & Customize
Pour immediately. Enjoy black, or add milk of your choice to introduce a softer, creamier dimension.
